COOKIES

Further details on our use of cookies is given in our Cookie Policy

Our use of re-marketing

Re-marketing involves placing a cookie on your computer when you browse our website in order to be able to serve to you an advert for our products or services when you visit some other website.
We may use a third party to provide us with re-marketing services from time to time. If so, then if you have consented to our use of cookies, you may see advertisements for our products and services on other websites.
Facebook custom audience

We use your data to create custom audiences and lookalike audiences on Facebook to advertise our products. When custom audiences are created, Facebook acts as the data processor (we are the data controller) using our CRM data to match it to people in our database to create a Custom Audience for advertising campaigns.
When we set up a custom audience, we instruct Facebook to use Hashed Data uploaded from our database to match against the email addresses used to log in and out of Facebook. Hashed data maps the original string of characters to data of a fixed length. Then an algorithm generates the hashed data, which protects the security of the original text.
It is important to note that “Facebook does not share the Hashed Data with third parties or other advertisers and will delete the Hashed Data promptly after the matching process is complete. Facebook will maintain the confidentiality and security of the Hashed Data and the collection of Facebook User IDs that comprise the Custom Audience(s) created from your Hashed Data (“your Custom Audience(s)”), including by maintaining technical and physical safeguards that are designed to (a) protect the security and integrity of data while it is within Facebook’s systems and (b) guard against the accidental or unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure of data within Facebook's systems.” Source: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/customaudience
